Meet Tim — your storyteller on Amelia Island.
Tim is a longtime local and a true connoisseur of Northeast Florida history. He grew up walking these streets, listening to the old-timers on the porches, and chasing down the stories the guidebooks never bothered to tell.
He’s extremely passionate about the roots of our corner of Florida — from the eight flags that flew over the island to the families, scoundrels, and saints who built it — and he’ll happily spend an hour explaining why a single brick in the street matters.
What guests remember most, though, is his sense of humor. Tim has a way of pulling you into a story, making you laugh in the middle of a 200-year-old mystery, and sending you home knowing you’ve had a genuinely great time.
Everybody comes to Amelia for the beach. I’m here to show you everything else — the parts the island only tells you if you slow down and ask.
